Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Horne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Jigster! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jigster shoots in but no luck this time. Horne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jigster misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Horne.
Jigster fails with a takedown attempt. Jigster goes for a double leg but Horne avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Horne continues to drive forward. Hal Horne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Jigster. Jigster tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Horne smiles and moves away.
Horne closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jigster being controlled for a moment. Horne is trying to get an arm triangle but Jigster is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jigster is letting Horne control him for a moment. Horne fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Jigster is trying to control Horne's posture but Horne avoids it. Sloppy strikes there by Horne. Jigster is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Horne has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Horne darts in and clinches Jigster up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horne goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jigster prevents it.
Jigster tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Horne avoids it. Jigster looking to slow down the pace here. Jigster is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Horne blocks an elbow strike from Jigster.
Jigster is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Horne gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Horne jumps guard but Jigster stands there with Horne around his waist. Horne gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jigster tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Horne just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jigster is looking to break free of the clinch but Horne has double underhooks. Horne tries for a takedown but Jigster manages to get underhooks.
Jigster tries to score a body lock takedown but Horne shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Horne decides to pull guard. Jigster trying to control but Horne is working from the bottom. Jigster wants to stand but Horne has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Horne throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Horne is pulling down on Jigster's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horne manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jigster manages to get himself to full guard.
Jigster is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Horne sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jigster has an active guard here but Horne has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Horne is looking for a kimura but Jigster is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Horne to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horne stuffs the takedown attempt from Jigster. Jigster gets slowly back to his feet. Horne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jigster moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jigster is looking to clinch but Horne is avoiding it.
Horne takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice sprawl there from Horne as Jigster shoots in. A head kick misses from Jigster. Horne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jigster but Jigster pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jigster connects with a looping right hand.
Jigster wants to clinch but Horne slips to the side and Horne counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Horne. Horne breaks from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jigster is defended easily by Horne. Hal Horne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Jigster. Jigster wants to clinch and Horne counters with a series of strikes. Jigster will be more careful next time no doubt. Jigster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Horne swats him away and circles back towards the center. Horne shoots in looking for a takedown but Jigster manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Horne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horne tests Jigster's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jigster has a takedown stuffed. Jigster misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jigster tries to clinch and Horne holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jigster tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Horne smiles and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horne moves into the clinch successfully.
Jigster wants to break free but Horne has control.
Horne prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jigster can't break the clinch.
Horne is working for takedown but Jigster is calmly controlling the position for now. Horne manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Horne has his hands on Jigster's head, controlling the position. Jigster must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jigster slips nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horne is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Horne is working hard here to advance position. Jigster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Horne is pressing down on Jigster's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jigster wanted to stand there but Horne had control of the position. Horne keeping moving, preventing Jigster from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horne pulls Jigster in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horne takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jigster tries to clinch but fails miserably and Horne counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hal Horne will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Horne misses with a low kick. A head kick misses from Jigster. Jigster tries to clinch up and Horne counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jigster closes the distance and clinches up with Horne, looking for a takedown. Jigster pushes Horne against the cage but Horne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jigster misses with a two punch combination.
Jigster tries to clinch but Horne moves away and Horne counters with a body kick that stops Jigster in his tracks momentarily. Horne keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jigster takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Horne throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jigster's waist but Jigster gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Horne off to one side. Horne closes the distance and clinches. Jigster looking to throw knees to the head but Horne is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horne just leaning against Jigster, taking a breather. Horne gets underhooks to prevent Jigster's takedown attempt.

Horne tries to throw a body punch but Jigster avoids it by throwing Horne back against the cage. Jigster throws a knee to the head but misses.
Jigster changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Horne fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Horne lands a leg kick that knocks Jigster off balance momentarily. Jigster pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jigster throws a leg kick that is checked and Horne counters with a good low kick that Jigster was not able to check. A head kick misses from Jigster. Jigster shoots in looking for a takedown. Horne tries to sprawl out of it but Jigster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Horne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Horne moves into the clinch successfully.
Horne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jigster darts in looking for a takedown but Horne gets double underhooks and turns Jigster into the cage. Jigster tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Horne smiles and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horne swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jigster pinned against the cage. Jigster gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jigster fails with the takedown. Horrible takedown by Horne or perhaps it was just good defense by Jigster which made him look bad. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jigster.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jigster swivels and escapes. Horne looking to score a takedown here. Jigster is defending well but Horne drives through and ends up in Jigster's guard. Horne stands up and waves to Jigster to follow him. No luck for Horne with that takedown attempt. Horne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jigster tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Horne defends well and Jigster ends up having to push Horne into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mike Jigster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hal Horne is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jigster with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Hal Horne showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Horne, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
