Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rakim The Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy comes into the arena with Walk by Pantera blaring out of the sound system. That Guy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, That Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rakim The Master!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy shoots in for a takedown but The Master shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Guy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Guy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The Master is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guy lands strikes from half guard.
The Master really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The Master is trying to stand.

The Master manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Guy keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Guy prevents The Master from breaking the clinch.

The Master manages to break the clinch.

The Master throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Guy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. The Master is in Guy's guard.

The Master uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The Master stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Master wants it to stay on the feet.

Guy shoots in for a double leg but The Master sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Guy is breathing heavily.
The Master lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Guy circles away quickly and effectively.

Guy tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Master swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The Master stuffs the takedown.
The Master wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The Master drives through and clinches with Guy against the cage.
Guy misses with the head strike.
The Master is trying to maintain a safe position but Guy gets an underhook and turns The Master into the cage.

Guy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The Master lands an overhand right.
The Master has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The Master scores with a hook.

The Master gets caught napping as Guy dives in and scores a takedown. The Master manages to retain guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Guy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and The Master dives on top into guard.

Guy has a closed guard, preventing The Master from standing up.
Guy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The Master wants to get up but he can't break Guy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Guy has his feet on The Master's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Guy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The Master cracks Guy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Guy tries for a takedown but The Master sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Guy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The Master thuds his right hand into Guy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Guy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Rakim The Master showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Guy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of The Master's head.

Guy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The Master wants to stand and escape but Guy is having none of it.
Guy distracts The Master with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Guy drops back looking for a leg! The Master is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and The Master manages to kick Guy off! Guy jumps back into The Master's guard.
Guy throws a strike but The Master rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The Master wants to stand but Guy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The Master must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Guy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Master manages to get himself to full guard.
Guy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The Master scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The Master moves out of range as Guy strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guy is defended easily by The Master.
Nice sprawl there from The Master as Guy shoots in.
Guy looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Guy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Guy there as he acknowledges the shot.
