Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dragos Podgaetschii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Jamesion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamesion is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The red carpet. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dragos Podgaetschii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Jamesion!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jamesion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Podgaetschii was covering up waiting for the punch and Jamesion finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jamesion wants to control from the top but Podgaetschii keeps moving.
Podgaetschii looking for a sweep. Not yet Podgaetschii, not yet.
Podgaetschii controls Jamesion momentarily but Jamesion frees himself.
Podgaetschii avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Jamesion looking to sit in guard and control but Podgaetschii gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Podgaetschii is looking to pass into half guard but Jamesion pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jamesion is in guard.
Jamesion trying to control the position from guard on top but Podgaetschii is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jamesion is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Podgaetschii pulls Jamesion in close to his closed guard and prevents Jamesion from doing any damage or advancing position.

Jamesion has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Podgaetschii clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mark Jamesion hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Podgaetschii has Jamesion up against the cage in a clinch.

Podgaetschii turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Podgaetschii manages to end up in side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Dragos Podgaetschii will probably get the nod.

Podgaetschii shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jamesion as he avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
