The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Hood swats away the attempt to clinch by Drecun.
Van Hood closes the distance and pushes Drecun back into the cage.
Drecun has clasped his hands together around Van Hood's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Van Hood tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Drecun presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Drecun is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Drecun!
