Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan De Bock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Frost!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Bock lands a head kick. Frost smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Frost avoids the head kick by De Bock.
Frost shoots for a takedown but De Bock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

De Bock rushes Frost and presses him up against the cage.

De Bock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Frost takes a kick to the side of the head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Frost is defended easily by De Bock.
Jack Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Bock looks for a takedown but Frost sprawls well.
De Bock shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Frost but Frost pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Frost throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. De Bock tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Frost is in De Bock's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Frost drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Frost jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
De Bock is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frost pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. De Bock is keeping the position for now.

De Bock is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frost is aware though and is defending well.
Frost controlling from the top position.
De Bock keeping moving, preventing Frost from controlling successfully.
De Bock avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
De Bock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
De Bock wants to sweep but no luck.
Frost trying to control but De Bock is working from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Frost fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jan De Bock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Frost.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frost misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Frost shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Frost seems to be working for a kimura but De Bock defends the submission attempt.

De Bock actively working from the bottom here.
De Bock is breathing heavily.

Frost is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
De Bock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frost wants to pass to mount but De Bock is defending the position.
Frost throwing shots but De Bock is blocking nicely.
De Bock tries to roll over but Frost keeps him under control.

Frost is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and De Bock defends it well.

Frost seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. De Bock is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jack Frost!
After winning the bout, Jack Frost thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
