Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rudolph Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny Deegrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deegrol scores with a crisp jab that stopped Watts in his tracks.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Watts is defended easily by Deegrol.
Deegrol stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Deegrol lands a nice looking body shot.
Deegrol with a nice cross.
Deegrol throws a right and a left that Watts avoids nicely.
Deegrol just misses with a punch to the body.
Watts shoots in but no luck this time.
Deegrol wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Deegrol throws out a powerful jab.

and Watts counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Deegrol's guard now.

Watts stands and steps away. Deegrol gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A looping hook to the body misses from Deegrol. Watts does a little dance to reset his feet.

Watts steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Deegrol.
Deegrol connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Watts's hands.
Deegrol digs a good hook to Watts's body.
Deegrol connects with a body shot that sends Watts's belly button to the back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jab, jab by Deegrol - just one landing.
Deegrol throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Watts is trying hard to land a takedown here. Deegrol sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rudolph Watts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sloppy strikes from Deegrol. Those never looked like landing.
Watts tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Deegrol defends well and Watts ends up having to push Deegrol into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Watts keeps control of Deegrol as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Deegrol wants to break free but Watts has control.
Watts jumps guard and drags Deegrol to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Deegrol won't allow Watts to sweep him here.
Deegrol really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Watts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Watts is pulling down on Deegrol's head. It's preventing any offense from Deegrol, at least for the moment.
Watts is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Deegrol has his hands clasped together but Watts extends and breaks Deegrol's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Watts.
