Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nelly Haynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haynes comes to the cage accompanied by Nelly - The Champ. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archie Archer! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haynes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Archer as he avoids it easily. Archer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Haynes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Haynes prevents Archer from improving his position. Haynes missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Archer trying to control from the bottom.
Haynes is trying to control the action in half guard but Archer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Archer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haynes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Archer preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Archie Archer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Archer closes the distance and pushes Haynes back into the cage. Archer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Archer scores with a punch to the head. Haynes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Archer sprawls well. Archer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Sloppy strikes from Archer. Those never looked like landing. Nice straight punches there by Archer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Archer. Haynes goes for a double leg but Archer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Archer continues to drive forward. Nice body punch from Archer. Archer manages to break the clinch.
Good shot there by Archer. Haynes closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. This has been an exciting period of action! Archer tries to clinch there but Haynes circles away.

Left hook, right uppercut from Archer. Haynes tries for a takedown but Archer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Archer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Haynes walks into a stiff left hand from Archer. Haynes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Archer defends well and Haynes ends up having to push Archer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Archer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Archer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Archer makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Haynes is working for takedown but Archer is calmly controlling the position for now. Archer manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Haynes has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Archer is trying to keep an underhook but Haynes manages to get the takedown into half guard. Archer manages to get to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Archer can do anything to dispel that myth. Archer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Haynes manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Haynes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Archer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Haynes scrambles back to his feet. Haynes misses with a takedown attempt - Archer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Archer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Haynes on the side of the head. Archer is looking to clinch but Haynes is avoiding it.
Haynes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Archer connects with a body shot that sends Haynes's belly button to the back. Haynes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Archer throws a combination. Haynes tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Haynes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Archer finds it's way round the side to connect with Haynes's head. Archer lands a right hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Haynes staying out of range there. Archer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Archer lands a glancing blow to the side of Haynes's head. A punch combination from Archer misses. Haynes fails with the takedown. Nelly Haynes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Archer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Haynes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Haynes slips a jab and a cross from Archer.
Archer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Archer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Haynes momentarily.

And that's the end of the fight! Archie Archer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Archer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Archie Archer! Archie Archer is the new middleweight champion! Archie Archer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. In defeat, Nelly Haynes stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm sorry I let down my fans, but I'm more sorry to the next guy I'm fighting cause I'ma bringing down the hell on him to make up for today'.
