Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adolpho Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruiz has chosen Klutch-The Mob Goes Wild as his entrance music. Adolpho Ruiz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz throws a body punch but Dent moves out of range.
Ruiz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dent on the side of the head.
Ruiz misses with a wild body shot.
Ruiz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dent drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ruiz wants to get back to his feet.
Dent decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Dent slips a jab from Ruiz.
Dent closes the distance and clinches up with Ruiz, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes Ruiz against the cage but Ruiz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ruiz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ruiz throws a series of punches but Dent moves out of range.

Ruiz pushes Dent off but Dent dives into side control.
Dent decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Ruiz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dent controls the pace.

Dent moves into full mount! Ruiz won't be happy about that!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dent cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ruiz in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Dent looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Dent has hold of Ruiz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ruiz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dent scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dent lands with some strikes.
Dent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ruiz is trying to stand but he's just given Dent his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ruiz has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Dent looking for the choke from the back.
Ruiz looking very determined here, making life difficult for Dent.
Dent is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Ruiz is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ruiz defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dent's arms.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dent drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dent slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Dent landing a few strikes.
The referee asks Dent politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dent prefers to stall for the moment though.
Ruiz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dent asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Dent has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Ruiz is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dent rather than just go for the knockout.
Ruiz connects with a jab.

Dent staying out of range there.
Ruiz misses with a wild body shot.
Ruiz is breathing heavily.
Dent has Ruiz up against the cage in a clinch.
Dent jumps guard but Ruiz stands there with Dent around his waist. Dent gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ruiz has had enough of the clinch but Dent keeps him there for the moment.
Dent ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dent no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dent working for a triangle but Ruiz defends it easily.
Ruiz trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dent's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dent is on top in guard.
Ruiz pushes Dent off and gets back to his feet.

Dent fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ruiz sprawls well initially but Dent persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ruiz is trying to stand.
Ruiz has one foot on Dent's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Ruiz throws a jab but it's blocked by Dent.
Dent bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dent creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ruiz taking a bit of punishment here - Dent scoring with strikes.
Dent has hold of Ruiz's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ruiz seems comfortable defending it but Dent has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ruiz is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ruiz is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dent couldn't care less - he's delighted!
