Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Monteban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Holtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Monteban! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Holtz! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holtz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Monteban manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Monteban is on top in guard.

Holtz has control of Monteban's left arm, preventing Monteban from doing any damage. Monteban slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Holtz keeping moving, preventing Monteban from controlling successfully. Monteban seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Monteban wants to control from the top but Holtz keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ricardo Monteban. Holtz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Monteban thows a body shot but no joy. Holtz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Monteban.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Monteban. Holtz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Holtz working Monteban over with strikes. Monteban gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Monteban wants to sweep here but Holtz controlling him for the moment. Monteban looking to control.
Holtz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Monteban is keeping the position for now. Monteban avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Holtz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monteban. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Monteban looking for a sweep. Not yet Monteban, not yet. Monteban looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Monteban has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Holtz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Holtz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monteban looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Monteban keeping moving, preventing Holtz from controlling successfully. Holtz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monteban is trying to keep Holtz in close.
Monteban is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Holtz is staying active underneath Monteban, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Monteban trying to advance position but Holtz counters by regaining guard. Holtz keeping full guard, as Monteban tries to pass. Holtz keeping moving, preventing Monteban from controlling successfully. Monteban pushes down on Holtz's leg and manages to get into half guard. Monteban trying to mount his opponent but Holtz defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Monteban frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Monteban trying to control but Holtz is having none of it. Monteban thowing shots but they're missing. Monteban working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Holtz is squirming around, avoiding Monteban's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Holtz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Monteban.
Holtz throws a low kick but Monteban moves out of range easily. Jeff Holtz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Holtz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Holtz connects with a jab. A punch combination from Holtz misses. Monteban slips a jab and a cross from Holtz.
Holtz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Holtz is looking to chop away at Monteban's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holtz swings for the body but Monteban moves out of range.
Monteban closes this distance looking for a takedown but Holtz circles away. Holtz throws a nice looking combination but Monteban bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Monteban fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A clash of legs there as Holtz blocks the low kick. Holtz moves into range and connects with a jab. Holtz gets a double leg takedown into Monteban's guard. Monteban not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ricardo Monteban overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Monteban bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holtz's guard. Monteban passes easily into side control. Nice work. Monteban is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Holtz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Monteban looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Monteban happy to just control the position for now. Holtz is not content to let Monteban control the position. Monteban has hold of Holtz's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Holtz seems comfortable defending it but Monteban has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Holtz is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Holtz is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Monteban couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ricardo Monteban! Ricardo Monteban spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
