Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, David Bowie - Ashes to Ashes. David Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Lester!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester misses with a takedown

and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lester is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lester can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lester swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lester throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jones's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones controlling from the top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lester preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lester swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones is fighting to break Lester's control of his arms but Lester is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jones postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jones is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Lester is rocked!
Jones is in close to Lester's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lester is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones loads up on a big left hand. Lester felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jones looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lester can't hide his disappointment, as Jones celebrates the victory.
