The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Blake in a clinch.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Blake prevents it.
Blake is pressed up against the cage. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Blake down to the mat. Blake avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Good leg kick by Johnson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Johnson feints and as Blake raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

It looks like Dee Blake has been cut.
Johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
