Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryobun Akagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bada Bing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bing is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metallica - All Nightmare Long. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryobun Akagi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bada Bing!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akagi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Bing closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bing thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Akagi is trying to improve his position.
Bing trying to control the position but Akagi is working away.
Bing tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Bing is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bing is looking for a kimura but Akagi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bing to get the leverage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

I would just about give that final round to Bada Bing.
Well Bing has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
