Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lance Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rian Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lance Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rian Machado! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill shoots and misses and Machado counters with a single leg into guard. Hill didn't expect that. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hill looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Machado tries to free his leg and advance position but Hill is retaining full guard. Machado stays in close to Hill's body and controls the position. Hill will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Machado postures up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rian Machado wasn't active enough on the ground. Hill fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machado drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hill not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Machado sitting in guard here, content to control. Hill avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Machado's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rian Machado. Machado is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hill's half guard. Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machado on the ground. Machado is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machado is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Machado controlling the action here. Hill looking for submissions off his back. Machado tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hill knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Machado is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machado works his way into side control. Machado content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Machado creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hill sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Machado trying to control the action but Hill is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machado throws a strike aimed at the side of Hill's head but Hill avoids it well. Hill is not content to let Machado control the position. Machado has hold of Hill's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hill seems comfortable defending it but Machado has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hill is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hill is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Machado couldn't care less - he's delighted!
