Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tad Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lennox Stacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tad Chaney has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tad Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lennox Stacks! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stacks misses with a combination
and Chaney holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Chaney breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chaney on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Stacks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chaney closes the distance and clinches. Stacks tries to land knees in the clinch but Chaney avoids the damage to the body. Stacks tries to break the clinch but Chaney is controlling the position. A quick uppercut on the inside from Stacks. Stacks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chaney has him pressed against the cage. Stacks trying to land knees to the body.
Stacks is trying to maintain a safe position but Chaney gets an underhook and turns Stacks into the cage. Stacks is trying to force a seperation but Chaney has the dominant position. Stacks misses with some punches.
Stacks working hard to break the clinch. Stacks wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stacks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chaney tries to clinch but Stacks moves out of range. Chaney blocks a head kick by Stacks.
Stacks pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stacks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Chaney at a distance.
Stacks scores with a head kick. Chaney tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Tad Chaney has been cut. Stacks fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck for Chaney with that takedown attempt. Stacks lands with a kick to the ribs.
Chaney slips under a jab. Chaney shoots in looking for a takedown. Stacks tries to sprawl out of it but Chaney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stacks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stacks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A looping hook to the body misses from Stacks. Chaney does a little dance to reset his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chaney gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stacks tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chaney's elbow. A frustrated look appears on Stacks's face as he tries to break the clinch. Chaney tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tad Chaney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chaney doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Stacks wants to break free but Chaney has control.
Stacks looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Chaney tries to land a knee to the head but Stacks blocks with his arms.
Stacks manages to break the clinch.
Chaney blocks the body kick.
Stacks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stacks scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Stacks closes the distance but Chaney moves to the side and Chaney counters with a left and a right that stings Stacks. Chaney fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chaney throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lennox Stacks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stacks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stacks wants it to stay on the feet. Chaney is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stacks misses with an attempted mid kick.
Stacks takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stacks throws a series of punches but Chaney moves out of range. Chaney moves into the clinch. Chaney breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chaney takes a shot right to the bread basket. Stacks wants to clinch up but Chaney keeps it at a distance. Stacks misses with a kick to the body.
Chaney stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stacks. Stacks throws a head kick that misses. Stacks lands a big head kick that sends Chaney tumbling to the mat! Stacks takes a step backwards and waves Chaney back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Chaney is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A kick lands to the mid section there for Stacks. Oh Chaney is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stacks finds Chaney's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Chaney flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Stacks lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Chaney will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lennox Stacks!
