Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 2, fighting out of New York, Bradley Boston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Glenn Benton! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boston fails with an attempt to clinch.
Benton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Benton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Benton misses with a series of wild punches.
Benton attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Benton scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Boston is looking to clinch but Benton is avoiding it.

Benton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A head kick misses from Benton. Boston tries to clinch up. Benton looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Benton jabbing away but nothing is landing. Boston is looking to clinch but Benton is avoiding it.

We've been hearing reports that Boston has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. It looks like Bradley Boston has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boston lands a head kick that stumbles Benton and the fighters go to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Benton scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Boston wants to clinch. Benton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boston.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Benton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boston at a distance.
Benton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boston moves away. Boston gets a clinch. Boston softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Benton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Benton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Benton is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Boston tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Boston swings wildly with an uppercut but Benton uses good head movement to avoid it. Boston tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Benton. Benton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boston lands a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boston pushes Benton back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Boston fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A short right from Boston. Benton is still on wobbly legs! Can Boston finish him? Boston makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Boston lands a shoulder strike. Benton is trying to break the clinch but Boston is controlling him. Boston swings wildly with an uppercut but Benton uses good head movement to avoid it. Benton can't break the clinch.
Benton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Benton seems to have recovered his senses. Benton lands a left and a right that send Boston crashing to the mat, dazed. Benton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Boston is rocked! A nice inside leg kick there by Benton. That's going to slow Boston down. Oh Boston is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Benton engages and cracks Boston with a massive lead left hook - Boston tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Benton is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
