Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Anucha Poopha!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Poopha.
Poopha cracks Lee with an open hand slap.
Poopha circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Poopha counter with a right hand.
Poopha throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A head kick from Poopha lands but Lee takes it in his stride.
Poopha thows a body kick. Lee tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nice sprawl there from Poopha as Lee shoots in.

Lee drives through with a takedown into Poopha's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Poopha has control of Lee's left arm, preventing Lee from doing any damage.
Lee throws a big elbow that misses.
Lee throws an elbow that misses. Poopha uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lee's guard. Nice move by Poopha!
Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Poopha is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lee is trying to control the position but Poopha postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poopha not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Poopha keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Poopha lands with a slapping head kick.


Lee is rocked!
We've been told by Lee's head coaches at SWF GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Whack! Poopha lands a heavy head kick that drops Lee. The ref tackles Poopha to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Lee was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Anucha Poopha!
