Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Cummings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Forza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larry Forza will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cummings shoots in but Forza avoids the takedown attempt easily.

It looks like Ricardo Cummings has been cut.

Cummings shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Cummings postures up in Forza's guard and throws a big left but Forza blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Forza has his foot on Cummings's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cummings works his way back into a safe position though.

Forza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cummings gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cummings has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cummings wants to stand but Forza has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Forza tries to roll over but Cummings keeps him under control.
Cummings is keen to just control but Forza is a slippery customer.
Forza wants to improve his position but Cummings is controlling well.
Forza is trying to stand up here but Cummings is controlling him well.

Cummings stands up from half guard.
Cummings throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Cummings changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Forza tries to avoid it but Cummings manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Forza to the ground. Forza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cummings has closed the distance and engaged Forza in a clinch.

Forza looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Forza leaves Cummings with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Cummings. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cummings lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Forza.

Forza has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cummings is trying to keep an underhook but Forza manages to get the takedown into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Forza with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Cummings tries to get to full guard but Forza has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ricardo Cummings will probably get the nod.

Forza dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cummings. That did some damage!

Cummings clinches.

Cummings breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cummings tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Forza drops Cummings with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cummings looks back up at him and smiles so Forza waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cummings throws a push kick but Forza slaps the foot to one side.
Forza wants to clinch up but Cummings keeps it at a distance.

Forza has taken the fight to the clinch.

Cummings breaks from the clinch.
Forza misses with a double jab

and Cummings counters by clinching up.

Forza pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Forza looks to land a combination but Cummings avoids it well.

Forza drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Forza is breathing heavily.
Cummings takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Cummings is trying to buck Forza off.
Forza tries to score with some ground and pound. Cummings controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Cummings throws Forza to one side and escapes!
Forza Rushes Cummings and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Cummings is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Forza Piles on the pressure and Cummings crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
