Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen keeps the fight on the outside.
Xenon gets a clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cohen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Xenon's brow.
Cohen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Xenon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Xenon gets a takedown into half guard.
Xenon missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Xenon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Xenon winds up and cracks Cohen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Xenon is looking to advance position but Cohen won't allow it.

Cohen wants to improve his position but Xenon is controlling well.
Cohen is not content to let Xenon control the position.
Xenon trying to advance position but Cohen counters by regaining guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cohen holds on and takes a little breather.
Xenon wants to get up but he can't break Cohen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Xenon is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Xenon is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Cohen has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cohen looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Owen Xenon dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cohen circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cohen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Xenon's knee momentarily.
Xenon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Xenon wants to pass to mount but Cohen is defending the position.
Cohen tries to roll over but Xenon keeps him under control.
Xenon wants to stand up but Cohen has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Xenon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cohen is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Xenon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cohen escapes and throws Xenon's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Xenon manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cohen's best efforts.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cohen is nestled in close to Xenon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Xenon is looking to escape.
Cohen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Owen Xenon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Cohen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Xenon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Cohen decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Xenon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

You can see the frustration on Cohen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cohen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Xenon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Owen Xenon has got the better of the ground game so far.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
