Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Floor Jan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirill Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrov has chosen Iron Man as his entrance music. Kirill Petrov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floor Jan fails to land with a series of punches.
Petrov instigates a clinch.
Petrov goes for a takedown attempt but Floor Jan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Floor Jan just misses with a punch to the body.
Floor Jan closes the distance and clinches.
Floor Jan is working for takedown but Petrov is calmly controlling the position for now.
Petrov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Floor Jan walks away with a smile on his face. Petrov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Floor Jan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Petrov throws the left hand but Floor Jan avoids the punch easily.
Petrov shoots in looking for a takedown but Floor Jan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Petrov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kenny Floor Jan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kirill Petrov.
Petrov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Floor Jan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Petrov on the side of the head.
Good leg kick by Floor Jan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Petrov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Floor Jan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Petrov shoots in for a takedown but Floor Jan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kenny Floor Jan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petrov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Floor Jan tries to bum rush Petrov with a series of wild strikes but Petrov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Petrov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Petrov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Floor Jan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
It looks like Floor Jan has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Petrov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
