Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koni Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Mclean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes into the arena with Maui Boy blaring out of the sound system. Mclean comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Oasis - F**king in the bushes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mclean rushes Maximus and presses him up against the cage.

Mclean gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Maximus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mclean pulls his head out easily.
Mclean slows the pace down in half guard.
Maximus wants to get back to full guard.

Maximus looking for submissions off his back.
Mclean seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maximus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Maximus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mclean is looking to take a break and control but Maximus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mclean is looking to advance position but Maximus won't allow it.
Mclean really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maximus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Maximus regains full guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mclean wants to control from the top but Maximus keeps moving.

Maximus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Maximus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Maximus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mclean is aware though and is defending well.

Maximus has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
