Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Shogun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poop Dik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shogun comes to the cage accompanied by acdc spolin for a fight . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lyoto Shogun ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Poop Dik! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shogun misses with the combination.
Dik will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Dik wants to clinch up but Shogun keeps it at a distance. Dik looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Dik closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dik tries to score with some ground and pound. Shogun controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dik wants to control but Shogun is keeping him busy. Shogun stops Dik from passing to mount. Shogun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dik moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dik cracks Shogun with a right hand to the side of the head. Dik tries to free his leg and advance position but Shogun is retaining full guard. Dik throws a big right hand that misses. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dik shoots in and bounces Shogun off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dik controls from within his opponent's guard. Dik loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dik sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Poop Dik dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dik gets a takedown into half guard. Dik thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shogun 's head. Dik content to control rather than advance. Shogun is trying to stand up here but Dik is controlling him well. Dik has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Shogun wants to try and get back to his feet. Dik looking to control and managing it successfully. Dik scoring with strikes but Shogun is staying in there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dik working for a submission but Shogun is keeping him at bay. Dik is in the full mount, landing strikes. Dik with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Poop Dik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Despite being in the dominant position, Poop Dik just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shogun chopping away at his opponent's legs.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shogun is working an open guard so Dik takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Lyoto Shogun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dik throws a series of punches but Shogun avoids them all with ease. Dik drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dik is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Dik slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Dik in side control, just content to control the action for now. Dik scores with punches from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shogun taking punishment in the form of punches.
