Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikola Filip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Filip might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Zovi samo zovi. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filip checks a low kick from Brown.
Filip misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brown fails to land with a series of punches.
Brown throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Filip moves out of range easily.
Filip tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brown swivels and escapes.
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Filip shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikola Filip. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Filip tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Filip walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A punch combination from Brown misses.
Filip fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brown digs a good hook to Filip's body.
Filip is breathing heavily.
Brown lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brown.

Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Filip shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brown lands with a nice combination. Filip backs away looking to recover.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Brown throws a head kick but Filip moves out of range.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Filip shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brown scores with a one two! Filip had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Filip fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Brown misses with a head kick.
Filip closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Filip pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Brown.
Brown drops Filip with a right and a left! Brown comes rushing in but Filip regains his composure and manages to keep Brown in guard.
Filip is rocked!
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Filip. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from Filip's guard.
Oh Filip is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Filip seems to have got his legs back now.

Filip has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Filip had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Filip Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.
Brown is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Filip is looking for the choke from the back position but Brown is controlling his hands well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brown won't enjoy being in this position. Filip looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Brown is tapping - it's over boys! Filip picks up the submission victory!
