Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Helios Garcius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Sung Min!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcius tries to close the distance and clinch but Min swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Min will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Garcius will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Garcius avoids a punch combination nicely.
Garcius clinches.
Garcius jumps into guard, dragging Min to the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Garcius keeping full guard, as Min tries to pass.
Garcius is pulling down on Min's head. It's preventing any offense from Min, at least for the moment.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Min preventing the sweep.
Min trying to control but Garcius is working from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Garcius is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Min postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Garcius is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Min is looking to improve his position.
Garcius is trying to control. Min wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Garcius keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Garcius prevents Min from improving his position.
Garcius looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Garcius is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Min doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Garcius.

Garcius takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Garcius lands a nice short elbow.
Garcius sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Min defending well though.
Garcius is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Garcius looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Min wants to get back to full guard but Garcius has mounted him!

Garcius pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Min is rocked!
Min throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Min is still in real trouble! Can Garcius finish him?
BOOM! Garcius connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Min is bucking up trying to escape but Garcius cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Garcius postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Min badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Garcius around the waist but Garcius pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Garcius is the winner by TKO! Garcius jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Helios Garcius!
Lee Sung Min spoke after the fight, saying 'Damn He's Good i look forward on Fighting you again'.
