Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Horne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Buzz Jigster!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horne shoots for a double leg takedown but Jigster sprawls well. He's pushed Horne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Horne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jigster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Horne circles away quickly and effectively.
Jigster closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Horne is trying to control Jigster's posture but Jigster avoids it.
Horne dodges the ground and pound from Jigster.
Jigster in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Horne is not content to let Jigster control the position.
Jigster tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jigster working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Horne is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jigster wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Horne, who protects the arm well.
Oh Horne is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Horne struggling a bit here.
Jigster scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Horne is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Jigster can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buzz Jigster!
Buzz Jigster bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
