Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Mulkai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frankie Fraser! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Mulkai blocks the leg kick.
Mulkai fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Fraser throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mulkai. Fraser throws a sloppy head kick and Mulkai moves out of range easily. Fraser misses with a leg kick. Mulkai tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mulkai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fraser has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Mulkai tries to clinch but Fraser moves out of range. Mulkai paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Mulkai tries to clinch up but Fraser circles away and keeps his distance. Mulkai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fraser turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Mulkai is not content to let Fraser control the position. Fraser postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fraser misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Fraser creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mulkai sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Mulkai struggling a bit here. Fraser lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mulkai down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fraser is trying to ground and pound but Mulkai uses the momentary lack of control by Fraser to regain half guard. Fraser thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mulkai is pressing down on Fraser's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mulkai is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
