Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timur Rubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Pablo Escobar enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Timur Rubin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pablo Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Rubin swings for the body but Escobar moves out of range.
Rubin slips under a jab.
Rubin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rubin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Escobar digs a good body shot into Rubin's ribs.
Escobar tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rubin swings for the body but Escobar moves out of range.

Rubin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Escobar was covering up waiting for the punch and Rubin finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Escobar tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Escobar wants to sweep here but Rubin controlling him for the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Escobar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rubin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Escobar moves away.
Escobar is looking to land body kicks.
Escobar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rubin on the side of the head.
Escobar throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Escobar fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rubin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Escobar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rubin.
Escobar throws a sloppy head kick and Rubin moves out of range easily.
Rubin moves away from the strike by Escobar.
Escobar misses with a hook.
Pablo Escobar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escobar looking to land some kicks to the body here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Escobar throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Rubin looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Escobar is looking to stand up but Rubin isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Pablo Escobar will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rubin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Rubin throws the left hand but Escobar avoids the punch easily.
Escobar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rubin manages to avoid it.

Timur Rubin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Escobar wants to get back to his feet but Rubin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rubin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rubin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Rubin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Escobar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Escobar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rubin postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Escobar wants to stand and escape but Rubin is having none of it.

Escobar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rubin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rubin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Escobar wants to stand but Rubin is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rubin cracks Escobar with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Rubin immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Escobar is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Rubin!
