The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duendes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Schulmann on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Schulmann jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duendes walks away with a smile on his face. Schulmann gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've been told by Duendes's head coaches at Thunder Dome that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Duendes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schulmann circles away quickly and effectively.

Duendes breaks from the clinch.
Duendes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duendes is looking to clinch.
Duendes tries to clinch but Schulmann is having none of it.

Duendes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Duendes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schulmann paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Duendes looks to land a combination but Schulmann avoids it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Schulmann. Duendes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Duendes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Schulmann fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duendes sprawls well initially but Schulmann persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Schulmann is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Duendes sees it coming and defends easily.
Duendes pushes Schulmann off looking to stand but Schulmann dives back in and keeps control.
Schulmann seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
