Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Bowlsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ansgar Kurucz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowlsby kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Whoop That Trick. Kurucz has chosen Marek Ztraceny - Sex s Ex as his entrance music. Ansgar Kurucz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Will Bowlsby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ansgar Kurucz! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Bowlsby. Kurucz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bowlsby sizes up Kurucz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bowlsby swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kurucz. Crunch! Kurucz slams his shin into Bowlsby's torso. Kurucz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kurucz fails in his attempt to clinch. Kurucz wants to clinch. Donk. Bowlsby catches Kurucz right on the button with a cross. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kurucz lands a left and a right that send Bowlsby crashing to the mat, dazed. Kurucz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bowlsby is rocked!
It looks like Will Bowlsby has been cut. Kurucz throws a head kick that misses. Oh Bowlsby is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bowlsby avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bowlsby seems to have got his legs back now. Bowlsby misses the jab. Bowlsby scores with a sloppy right hand. Kurucz should have avoided that one. Bowlsby connects with a body shot that sends Kurucz's belly button to the back. Kurucz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bowlsby moves away. Bowlsby displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kurucz throws out the jab. Bowlsby on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kurucz. Kurucz obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowlsby misses with an uppercut. Kurucz saw that one coming. Bowlsby gets the takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bowlsby working the ground and pound from side control. Bowlsby throws a strike aimed at the side of Kurucz's head but Kurucz avoids it well. Bowlsby lands a decent elbow from side control. Bowlsby throwing strikes but Kurucz manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! You can see the frustration on Bowlsby's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bowlsby tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurucz wants to stand but Bowlsby is controlling his arm. A bit of a lull in the action here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bowlsby is looking to reverse the position. A control attempt from Bowlsby but he's now mounted! Bowlsby wants to hold on but Kurucz pushes him away. Kurucz stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice jab there from Kurucz. Kurucz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bowlsby finds it's way round the side to connect with Kurucz's head. Bowlsby throws a looping overhand right but Kurucz ducks down to avoid it. Kurucz tries a head kick but it misses.
Bowlsby's corner calls for a 1-2. Bowlsby obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Bowlsby scores with a nice strike. Ansgar Kurucz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bowlsby moves into range and connects with a jab. Bowlsby doesn't manage to clinch there - Kurucz circles away.
Bowlsby is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Bowlsby avoids the head kick by Kurucz.
Kurucz takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kurucz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kurucz connects with a high kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kurucz throws a lazy head kick and Bowlsby counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kurucz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kurucz takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowlsby avoids the head kick by Kurucz.
Will Bowlsby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bowlsby avoids the body shot from Kurucz.
Bowlsby misses with a left hand and Kurucz scores with a counter punch that sends Bowlsby to the canvas! Kurucz smells blood - he's punishing Bowlsby with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bowlsby has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ansgar Kurucz! During a confident post fight interview, Ansgar Kurucz thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. The defeated Will Bowlsby had this to say: 'I beat myself. My focus was off, he has no skill at all!'.
