Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timpurhkhum Chouncheun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chouncheun comes to the cage accompanied by พิณบรรเลง. The crowd seem to be enjoying Faber's choice of entrance music: Choke - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Timpurhkhum Chouncheun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Urijah Faber! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chouncheun throws a body kick that misses. Faber throws a lazy uppercut
and Chouncheun counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Timpurhkhum Chouncheun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Faber is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chouncheun's half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Faber trying to mount his opponent but Chouncheun defends it. Faber is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Chouncheun sees it coming and defends easily. Faber is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chouncheun defends it well. Faber is trying to work for a kimura but Chouncheun is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Faber is working for a kimura but Chouncheun is defending it quite comfortably.
Chouncheun tries to roll over but Faber keeps him under control. Faber is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faber looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Faber is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chouncheun defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber is working for a kimura here but Chouncheun manages to reverse the position and he's now in Faber's guard.
Faber working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chouncheun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chouncheun manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Faber is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chouncheun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Faber on the ground. Faber wants to work for an arm triangle but Chouncheun is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chouncheun won't allow Faber to pass to mount. Faber perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Chouncheun is defending against the submission attempts here by Faber.

Chouncheun gets caught napping as Faber dives in and scores a takedown. Chouncheun manages to retain guard. Faber is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chouncheun is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chouncheun has escaped and now he's on top! Faber working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chouncheun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. No, Chouncheun has managed to free his arm - good work. Faber is trying to control. Chouncheun wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Chouncheun has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Faber is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Faber tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chouncheun would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Faber is looking for a triangle but Chouncheun pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Faber has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chouncheun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chouncheun preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Urijah Faber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Chouncheun takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Chouncheun attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Faber throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chouncheun on the side of the head. Faber throws a hook to the side of Chouncheun's head but Chouncheun sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Faber moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Chouncheun avoids the body shot from Faber.
Faber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Faber sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chouncheun's guard. Faber has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Chouncheun defend it? Faber steps over the head and cranks it - Chouncheun is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Faber!
