Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Sunshine. Kingston has chosen 2pac - I'm Soulja as his entrance music. Alex Steel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nate Kingston's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Kingston!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel misses with a left hand
and Kingston counters with a stiff right hand.

Steel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kingston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kingston closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Steel did well to prevent Kingston getting side control.

Steel is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Kingston feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
