Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Norman Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Vasko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Norman Reeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Vasko!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves moves in looking to clinch but Vasko pushes him off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Reeves. Vasko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reeves takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Reeves misses with a hook.
Reeves misses with a double jab.
Reeves takes a swing at Vasko's ribcage but misses.
Norman Reeves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasko shoots for a takedown but Reeves saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Vasko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vasko lands in his opponent's guard.

Reeves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vasko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vasko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reeves is trying to keep Vasko in close.

Vasko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reeves has a closed guard, preventing Vasko from standing up.

Vasko wanted to stand there but Reeves had control of the position.

Vasko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reeves has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vasko has managed to get both his arms back between Reeves's legs - danger averted.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vasko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Vasko trying to control the position from guard on top but Reeves is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Reeves has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Vasko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Reeves has tightened it up now! Vasko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
