Makeshian throws a nice looking combination but Cerveja bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cerveja blocks a head kick by Makeshian.
Makeshian fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Makeshian lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Makeshian misses with a two punch combination.
Cerveja goes for a double leg but Makeshian avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Makeshian continues to drive forward.
Cerveja is looking to take this one to the mat.
Cerveja is trying to drag Makeshian to the mat but Makeshian just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zeus Cerveja. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cerveja tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Makeshian escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
