The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko misses with a two punch combination.

and Hazzard counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hazzard.
Marko is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Marko has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Marko tries to score a body lock takedown but Hazzard shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hazzard told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hazzard has Marko pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Marko is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Hazzard - that's hurt Marko badly! Oh, another knee lands and Marko is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Marko doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Bio Hazzard!
