Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rane Kingi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilafat Urskilz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rane Kingi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ilafat Urskilz! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Urskilz blocks the leg kick.
Urskilz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kingi. Kingi tries to score with a low kick but Urskilz moves his leg out of the way. Nice shot lands for Urskilz. Urskilz misses with a body kick. We've been told by Kingi's head coaches at The Meat Market that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Urskilz checks a low kick from Kingi. Kingi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kingi wants it to stay on the feet. Kingi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Urskilz. Kingi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Good exchange - Kingi coming out on top. Urskilz throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Kingi connects with a high kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kingi misses with a two punch combination.
Kingi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Urskilz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Urskilz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A kick lands to the mid section there for Kingi. Kingi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kingi keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urskilz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Urskilz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kingi's head. Kingi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kingi with a jab. Kingi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Urskilz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kingi's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Urskilz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Urskilz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Urskilz landing some decent shots from guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Urskilz throwing strikes from guard but Kingi blocks nicely. Kingi trying to keep a closed guard but Urskilz is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kingi holds on and takes a little breather. Urskilz throws a big right hand that misses. Urskilz stays in close to Kingi's body and controls the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Urskilz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kingi as he jumps to the side. Urskilz checks a low kick from Kingi. Good work by Kingi as he checks the leg kick. Kingi slaps away a takedown attempt from Urskilz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rane Kingi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ilafat Urskilz. An inside leg kick lands from Kingi. Kingi slips a jab from Urskilz. Urskilz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Urskilz walks into a stiff left hand from Kingi. Kingi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Urskilz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kingi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Urskilz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kingi. That one must have hurt. Kingi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Urskilz lands a jab to the head.
Kingi connects with a body shot. Urskilz looks to throw the jab but Kingi is out of range. Urskilz loads up on a big right hand but Kingi slips the punch. A slow jab from Urskilz misses its intended target. Urskilz on the wrong end of a nice hook. Good work by Urskilz as he checks the leg kick. Urskilz throws a sloppy head kick and Kingi moves out of range easily. Urskilz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Urskilz avoids the body shot from Kingi.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Urskilz misses the target. Kingi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Urskilz. Kingi defending well as Urskilz loads up on a big left hand. Kingi explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kingi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Urskilz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A chopping leg kick lands by Urskilz. Urskilz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kingi.
A jab from Kingi does it's job there. Kingi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Urskilz checks the leg kick. Kingi is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. A lazy left from Urskilz finds it's target. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kingi wants to slow Urskilz down by chopping away at his legs. Urskilz needs to keep his hands up - Kingi had a free shot at his head there. Kingi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Urskilz throws out the jab. Urskilz throws a hook to the side of Kingi's head but Kingi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ilafat Urskilz will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kingi looks to land a body kick but Urskilz moved away. Urskilz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kingi to the mat! Kingi manages to get full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Urskilz's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Urskilz's corner is telling him to maintain position. Urskilz tries to free his leg and advance position but Kingi is retaining full guard. Kingi is controlling Urskilz's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Urskilz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kingi pulls Urskilz in to control the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Urskilz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rane Kingi wasn't doing enough on the ground. Kingi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Urskilz. Kingi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Urskilz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kingi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingi lands with a nice body kick. Kingi lands a nice shot to the body.
Urskilz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kingi throws a low kick, looking for Urskilz's leg but Urskilz calmly moves out of range. Rane Kingi is winning the standup battle so far. Urskilz lands a big head kick that sends Kingi tumbling to the mat! Urskilz takes a step backwards and waves Kingi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kingi is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Urskilz shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Kingi takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Urskilz sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Kingi bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ilafat Urskilz! Ilafat Urskilz seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
