Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Werkka Easterlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kisuke Urahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Easterlund comes to the ring accompanied by Harbinger of Sorrow. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Easterlund lands with a shot to the body.
Easterlund lets loose with a powerful body kick. Urahara will feel that in the morning.
Urahara shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Easterlund drives through and clinches with Urahara against the ropes.
Easterlund is trying to break the clinch but Urahara has him pressed against the ropes.
A frustrated look appears on Easterlund's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Urahara has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Easterlund lands a big head kick that sends Urahara tumbling to the mat! Easterlund takes a step backwards and waves Urahara back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Easterlund feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Urahara sprawling to the canvas! Urahara rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Easterlund finish him?!

Urahara is rocked!
Urahara lands a nice hook to Easterlund's body. Easterlund takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Easterlund rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Urahara moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Urahara seems to have recovered his senses.
Urahara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Urahara avoids the head kick by Easterlund.
Easterlund tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Urahara is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Easterlund.
Urahara takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Urahara fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Easterlund will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

I was talking to Easterlund's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
