Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Horizon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horizon comes to the ring accompanied by Bring your whole crew. Kersikov has chosen Avicii - Wake Me Up ft Aloe Blacc as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrei Kersikov! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horizon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Horizon throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kersikov. Kersikov moves out of range as Horizon throws a body kick.

and Horizon counters with a good low kick that Kersikov was not able to check. Horizon gets in close and instigates a clinch. Horizon is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kersikov is defending well for now. Kersikov doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Horizon swings wildly with an uppercut but Kersikov uses good head movement to avoid it. I was talking to Horizon's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Horizon tries a body shot but Kersikov blocks it.
Horizon lands with a left to the head. Kersikov told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Kersikov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Horizon's elbow. Horizon lands a hook that snaps the head of Kersikov backwards. Kersikov lands a right hand. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Horizon. Kersikov lands with a short head shot on the inside. Kersikov is looking to control Horizon's arms but Horizon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kersikov has his back to the ropes. A right hand to the body from Horizon.

Horizon tries to throw a body punch but Kersikov avoids it by throwing Horizon back against the ropes. Horizon lands with a light punch inside. Kersikov goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Horizon throws a head punch that misses. Kersikov tries to throw a body punch but Horizon avoids it by throwing Kersikov back against the ropes. Kersikov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horizon takes a swing at Kersikov's ribcage but misses. Kersikov looks to throw the jab but Horizon is out of range. Horizon connects with a body shot that sends Kersikov's belly button to the back. That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kersikov moves out of range of the body kick from Horizon.
Horizon shoots in but Kersikov avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kersikov looks to land a left hand but Horizon moved out of range nicely. That kick from Horizon tenderised Kersikov's leg. Kersikov is trying to keep his angry face on. Horizon delivers a nice body kick. Horizon throws a body kick that misses. Kersikov misses with a low kick as Horizon jumps back. and Kersikov makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Horizon really felt that one! Horizon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Horizon is looking to wear down Kersikov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Horizon dips to his left and cracks Kersikov with an uppercut! Sloppy strikes from Horizon. Those never looked like landing.

Kersikov works on Horizon's body with a couple of short punches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kersikov tries to work over Horizon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kersikov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Horizon backwards. Kersikov misses with a punch to the body.

A battle for position here, against the ropes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andrei Kersikov will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kersikov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kersikov scores with a nice body kick.
Horizon throws a body punch but Kersikov moves out of range. Kersikov lands a big right hand that sends Horizon crashing to the mat! Kersikov stays standing though and waves Horizon back to his feet!
It looks like Evan Horizon has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kersikov scores with a spinning back kick! Kersikov drops Horizon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Horizon looks back up at him and smiles so Kersikov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Horizon is rocked! Horizon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Oh Horizon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kersikov batters Horizon with a massive right followed by a huge left! Horizon is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Kersikov lands a final crushing right hand to drop Horizon to the mat with a gruesome thud! Kersikov is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Andrei Kersikov! Our winner, Andrei Kersikov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
