Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lisandro Licha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Nestor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Licha's entrance music is In Bloom. A fine choice. Nestor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ain't no grave kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Nestor finds it's way through Licha's defenses.
Licha showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nestor.
Nestor throws a hook to the side of Licha's head but Licha sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nestor has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Licha manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Licha wants to work for an arm triangle but Nestor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Licha looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Licha is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Licha postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nestor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Licha, into his guard.

Licha manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lisandro Licha will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Licha has an Americana. Nestor didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Licha is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Licha hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Lisandro Licha decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
