Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pow Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Dark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pow lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Pow thows a body shot but no joy.
Pow looks to throw the jab but Dark is out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dark has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Pow swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Pow.
Pow works Dark's body with a nice hook.
A jab from Pow does it's job there.
Pow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pow thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dark if he has to take too many more of those.
Pow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pow wants to sweep but no luck.
Pow is looking to stand up but Dark isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dark is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Dark stands up over Pow, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Pow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dark moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Dark counters with a shoot takedown. Pow fights it but they end up in guard.

Pow wants to control but Dark passes easily into half guard.

Pow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dark is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dark lands a nice short elbow.
Pow wants to get back to full guard but Dark has passed into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Pow tries to buck Dark off but Dark is having none of it.
Oh Pow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

A lull in the action here.
Pow is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
A big shot lands for Dark! That's hurt Pow! Will he recover? Dark fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Jay Dark thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
