Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Shorty Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panavas misses with a two punch combination.

Gonzalez wants to clinch up but Panavas keeps it at a distance.
Shorty Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gonzalez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Panavas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Panavas throws a body punch but Gonzalez moves out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gonzalez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
