The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trig defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Benoit.
Trig goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Christoph Benoit has been cut.
Trig moves into the clinch.
Benoit is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Trig pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Benoit is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Trig is defending well.
Frank Trig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christoph Benoit.
Trig is trying to break the clinch but Benoit is controlling him.
Benoit tries for a takedown. No joy.

Benoit doesn't manage to clinch there - Trig circles away.
Trig jabs Benoit right on the nose. Benoit blinks but takes it well.
Trig lands a big head kick that sends Benoit tumbling to the mat! Trig takes a step backwards and waves Benoit back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Benoit is rocked!
Trig lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Benoit falls backwards - clearly groggy! Trig dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
