Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damien Bishop is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Damien Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Jones! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jones has a takedown stuffed. A telegraphed right hand from Bishop misses the target. We've been told by Bishop's head coaches at Warrior MMA and Fitness that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bishop tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Bishop's guard. Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bishop misses with a body shot.

Jones darts in looking for a takedown but Bishop gets double underhooks and turns Jones into the cage. Bishop's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Bishop's shoulder, as Bishop tries to avoid the shot. Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Damien Bishop has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bishop works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Bishop. Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Bishop. Those never looked like landing. Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bishop is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Bishop circles away and we're back to standing. Damien Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Jones. Bishop works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bishop misses with a two punch combination.
Bishop lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming. Jones is looking to clinch. Bishop keeps the fight on the outside. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Bishop, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Bishop against the cage but Bishop circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones dives in and scores a takedown into Bishop's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bishop is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bishop dives on top into guard. Bishop stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jones throws a hook to the side of Bishop's head but Bishop sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bishop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bishop clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bishop throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease. Jones tries to clinch but Bishop is having none of it. Damien Bishop is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones drives through and clinches with Bishop against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bishop throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range. Bishop throws a right and a left that both miss. Bishop misses with a wild combination.
Jones tries to clinch up. Bishop paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target. Bishop closes the distance and lands a one-two. Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Bishop counters with a nice uppercut. Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bishop circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one. Bishop lands a nice shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bishop takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses. Bishop jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bishop's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bishop duly obliges. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bishop paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bishop smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A nice combination there by Bishop.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bishop circles away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Bishop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Bishop dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bishop on his heels. He'll look to pass Bishop's guard now, I'm sure. Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jones drops back looking for a leg! Bishop is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bishop manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Bishop's guard. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bishop is keeping the position for now. Jones is looking to pass into half guard but Bishop pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bishop is in guard. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones working over Bishop with some ground and pound. Bishop looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jones is working for a kimura but Bishop is defending it quite comfortably.
Nice strikes from Jones there. Jones is looking for submissions but instead, Bishop has regained full guard.
Bishop is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bishop is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard. Bishop avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bishop wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bishop knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bishop gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bishop would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jones has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bishop is looking to defend but Jones has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bishop! Jones pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bishop taps out and this one is all over!
