Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimon Boets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armando Quetzalcoatl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boets might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Штиль. Quetzalcoatl has chosen J-Lo : On the Floor as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Armando Quetzalcoatl!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boets tries to keep at a distance but Quetzalcoatl has taken the fight into the clinch.

Boets has gone for a leg lock! Quetzalcoatl slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boets's guard.

Boets escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Quetzalcoatl gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Boets has a closed guard, preventing Quetzalcoatl from standing up.

Boets is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Quetzalcoatl wants to get up but he can't break Boets's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boets is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Quetzalcoatl defends well.
Quetzalcoatl must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Quetzalcoatl wanted to stand there but Boets had control of the position.
Quetzalcoatl really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boets. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Boets has his foot on Quetzalcoatl's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Quetzalcoatl works his way back into a safe position though.

Boets seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Quetzalcoatl has his hands clasped together but Boets extends and breaks Quetzalcoatl's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Boets.
