Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Thyme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Will Smith-Geting Jiggy with it. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Thyme. Dean does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thyme rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dean moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dean seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Thyme misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dean shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dean changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thyme looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Thyme is not content to let Dean control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dean throws a strike but Thyme rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Thyme swings around for an armbar but Dean sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Thyme's guard.

Dean shoots in looking for a takedown. Thyme tries to sprawl out of it but Dean keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thyme manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thyme throws a right hand that Dean ducks under and follows up with a left that Dean also avoids with ease.
Thyme uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dean has time to react.

Thyme has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dean is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Dean shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thyme sprawls well. Thyme wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dean gets slowly back to his feet.

Thyme has gone for a leg lock! Dean slips out almost immediately though and dives into Thyme's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Justin Thyme.
