Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Mendosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Valadez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendosa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dead and Gone -The Black Keys. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valadez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mendosa wants to improve his position but Valadez is controlling well.
Mendosa is staying active underneath Valadez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Mendosa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Valadez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Valadez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mendosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
