The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muntz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Pinochet throws out a loose jab but Muntz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Muntz tries to land a front kick but Pinochet steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pinochet misses with a body shot.
Pinochet looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Muntz is fending him off so far but Pinochet persists. Nope, Muntz circles away and we're back to standing.
Muntz stuffs the takedown attempt from Pinochet. Pinochet gets slowly back to his feet.
Muntz connects with an inside leg kick.
Pinochet misses with a takedown
and Muntz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Augusto Pinochet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pinochet checks a low kick from Muntz.

Muntz tries to land a leg kick but Pinochet saw it coming and moves away.

Pinochet bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Pinochet postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Muntz pushes Pinochet away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pinochet gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Pinochet wants to control but Muntz is keeping him busy.

Muntz is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Pinochet in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Muntz tries to buck Pinochet off but Pinochet is having none of it.

Pinochet tries to move to mount but Muntz blocks the move with his legs.
An elbow from Pinochet crashes against the mat.
Pinochet trying to control the action but Muntz is working from the bottom.
Pinochet looks up at the clock and then as Muntz takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pinochet smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Muntz is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Pinochet wants to control for a moment but Muntz uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Muntz is refusing to be controlled, as Pinochet sits in half guard.

Pinochet maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Muntz could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pinochet has cracked it and Muntz is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pinochet!
