12 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Michael Gleiser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luther Doherty! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doherty scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gleiser doesn't seem bothered though. Doherty misses with a looping left. Doherty tries to clinch and Gleiser counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Doherty wants to clinch but Gleiser slips to the side enabling Gleiser to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Luther Doherty has been cut. Gleiser has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Doherty drives through and clinches with Gleiser against the cage.

Doherty ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nice shot by Doherty. Doherty lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gleiser circles away quickly and effectively. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Doherty tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gleiser swats him away and circles back towards the center. Doherty connects with a single shot there.

Gleiser ducks under a wild hook from Doherty. Doherty drops Gleiser with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gleiser looks back up at him and smiles so Doherty waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Doherty throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gleiser blocks it with crossed arms. The referee is keeping an eye on Doherty - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

And that's the end of the fight! Luther Doherty comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Doherty has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
