Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Maciej Borukiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruud Van Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borukiewicz comes to the ring accompanied by Eripe & Kiju - Grupa śmierci . Van Hall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nico Vega - Beast. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maciej Borukiewicz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruud Van Hall!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Van Hall misses.
Borukiewicz throws a head kick that misses.
Maciej Borukiewicz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borukiewicz lands with a nice combination. Van Hall backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Ruud Van Hall has been cut.
Van Hall closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Borukiewicz tries to clinch there but Van Hall circles away.
Borukiewicz throws a leg kick that is checked
and Van Hall counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Van Hall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Van Hall moves forwards but Borukiewicz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Van Hall moves out of range as Borukiewicz strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borukiewicz fails with an attempt to clinch.

Borukiewicz throws a series of punches but Van Hall avoids them all with ease.
Van Hall swats away the attempt to clinch by Borukiewicz.
Borukiewicz tries to close the distance and clinch but Van Hall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Van Hall clips Borukiewicz with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Borukiewicz a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.


It looks like Maciej Borukiewicz has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Van Hall throws a nice looking combination but Borukiewicz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nice cross by Borukiewicz.
Borukiewicz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Borukiewicz throws a low kick but Van Hall moves out of range easily.

Borukiewicz closes the distance and pushes Van Hall back into the ropes.
Borukiewicz misses with a punch on the inside.
Borukiewicz misses with a hook from the clinch.
Borukiewicz just leaning against Van Hall, taking a breather.
Van Hall is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Borukiewicz doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Van Hall blocks an uppercut.

Van Hall breaks the clinch.
Van Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Borukiewicz.
Borukiewicz tries to close the distance and clinch but Van Hall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Borukiewicz wants to clinch
and Van Hall counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Van Hall keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Borukiewicz moves forwards but Van Hall connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Van Hall has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Borukiewicz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Borukiewicz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Borukiewicz thuds his shin into the meat of Van Hall's side.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Hall throws a right hand that Borukiewicz ducks under and follows up with a left that Borukiewicz also avoids with ease.
Van Hall gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Borukiewicz closes the distance looking to clinch
and as Borukiewicz looks to reset his feet, Van Hall counters with a string of precision punches, right on the button, sending Borukiewicz crashing to the canvas! Borukiewicz is in big trouble here! The referee has started the count but Borukiewicz is so wobbly that the ref has given up the count at 6 - he's called the bout off! Van Hall is your winner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ruud Van Hall!
