The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Lima with that takedown attempt.
Lima shoots in for a double leg but Campbell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Campbell tries to sprawl but Lima drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Lima is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Campbell is just riding it out for now. Lima eventually gives up the hold.

Campbell moves into range and clinches up with Lima.
Lima jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Campbell walks away with a smile on his face. Lima gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lima wants to clinch but Campbell slips to the side

and Campbell counters by clinching up.

Campbell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Campbell rushes Lima and presses him up against the cage.

Campbell ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Campbell no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Lima stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Campbell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
