The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimerson moves out of range of the body kick from Jackson Jr.
Jimerson throws a right and a left that Jackson Jr avoids nicely.
Jimerson shoots in for a double leg but Jackson Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jackson Jr slips a jab and a cross from Jimerson.
Jackson Jr shoots in but Jimerson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jimerson throws a series of punches but Jackson Jr avoids them all with ease.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jackson Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jimerson is fending him off so far but Jackson Jr persists. Nope, Jimerson circles away and we're back to standing.

Jackson Jr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jimerson to the mat! Jimerson manages to get full guard.
Jimerson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jackson Jr doesn't defend quickly enough and Jimerson has managed to lock this one up! Can Jackson Jr escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jimerson on a fantastic submission victory.
