Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Borys Grabowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Walter White!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
White won't allow Grabowski to sweep him here.
Grabowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
White trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as White accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw White working his ground and pound in the gym.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Walter White hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Grabowski connects with a jab.

Grabowski thuds a left hand into White's body.
Grabowski cracks White with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Grabowski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Grabowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Grabowski misses with a jab, cross combination.
White lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and White counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Grabowski's guard now.
White postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Grabowski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Grabowski wants to sweep but no luck.
White trying to control the position from guard on top but Grabowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Grabowski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

White is looking for a sweep. Grabowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are battling for position here. White manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
White has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Grabowski has passed into side control.

Grabowski throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
Grabowski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grabowski walks into a left hand.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Grabowski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and White has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from White and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Grabowski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Grabowski connects with an inside leg kick.
Grabowski bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps White's head backwards.
White takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Grabowski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.
Grabowski motions for White to come forward. Grabowski throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
White fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Grabowski takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
White swings for the body but Grabowski moves out of range.
Grabowski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grabowski swings away with a leg kick that misses.
White lands the left hand.
White misses with a hook to the body
and Grabowski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
White misses with a looping left.
Grabowski moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Grabowski.
Grabowski misses with a double jab.
White shoots for a takedown but Grabowski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grabowski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.
White has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

No joy there for Grabowski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
White lands a glancing blow to the side of Grabowski's head.
White throws the left hand but Grabowski avoids the punch easily.

White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

White drops back, looking for a kneebar! Grabowski looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Grabowski looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Grabowski!
Grabowski takes a little break here. White wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
White looks to move to half guard but instead Grabowski has passed into mount! Damn!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
White holds on for dear life, controlling Grabowski's posture momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
White is trying to escape the mount.

Walter White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

White throws a hook but Grabowski avoids it easily.

White closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
White is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
White is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

White is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

White had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grabowski defends it easily.
Grabowski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Grabowski defends well.

Grabowski controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Walter White is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Grabowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and White has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grabowski has managed to get both his arms back between White's legs - danger averted.

White looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Grabowski is defending well. White quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Grabowski has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! White celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
